Biography
Paul Schlumper, head of the Georgia Institute of Technology Safety Engineering Branch and Principal Research Engineer, oversees research efforts in occupational safety, environmental compliance, and safety and health management. Schlumper has nearly 30 years of experience working as a trainer and consultant in Occupational Safety and Health, ANSI Z10 and Safety Management Systems, ISO 14000 and Environmental Management Systems, and environmental compliance. As a member of the OSHA On-Site Safety and Health Consultation team, he has assisted hundreds of facilities in safety and health management and compliance. Schlumper received an M.S.I.E. and a B.S.I.E. from Georgia Tech.
