Course Description

Augment your skills in handling dangerous situations with our Introduction to Emergency Planning Seminar. You’ll learn what OSHA requires and more about how to protect against and respond to chemical spills, fire, severe weather, homeland defense, and workplace violence. We’ll cover general site safety in addition to Emergency Action Plans and Emergency Response Plans.

Online Offerings Only: OSHA Atlanta Region

The only students allowed to enroll in online (Virtual Instructor Led Training) courses are either:

  • those living or working in the OSHA Atlanta Region. This includes Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and a portion of Florida. Please refer to this map for more information on OSHA Regions.

Required

  • Learners attending in-person courses must present photo identification upon course check-in and onsite registration. The Georgia Tech OSHA Training Institute Education Center will verify the identity of each individual attending an OTI course.
